Cinematography
Owen Reynolds DoP Show Reel
A mixture of projects that either I Directed myself, or worked on as Director of Photography. These projects span over the last 4 years. Some of which I am more proud of than others, but progression is what I look for and I’m happy to say that I’ve come a long way.
Regret
I produced this project in-between working on my university projects at the time, I was inspired by Tim Grover’s conversation with Steven Barrett to create a short film idea.
Gangster’s Paradise
An attempt at a cinematic film intro sequence with the focus heavily on the post-production aspect, and the motion graphic techniques. This project was produced for a second year university project.
Outlaw
Another mock film introduction sequence for University. This one took a lot of inspiration from Tarantino’s style of production.
Routine
A university project showing a morning routine squeezed into less than three minutes of nostalgic cinematography.
Overthinker
My biggest project to date thus far in terms of planning, a Music Video inspired by the spoken words of Alan Watts and remix by Into. Produced for one of my final university projects.
FitBit Advert
The first ever project that I produced and directed, start to finish. It was a cinematic running advert idea, based around FitBit and their latest running watch. The project was produced for my first year at De Montfort University and earned me a First Class Honour.
Don’t Stop Running
A spin-off from my previous video. Using just the forest running scenes and new sounds to create an entirely different feel.
